

Festival Hooley Live at the Bridgend
Saturday, August 2nd is packed with musical delights. Start your day with the unique Jam at the Dam at 12 noon, followed by Live at the Gables – Music from 3 PM to 5 PM. The vibrant Ballyshannon Street
Band will parade outside the Abbey Arts Centre at 6:30 PM, leading into a truly special evening. At 7 PM, the Abbey Arts Centre welcomes the incomparable Luka Bloom, with a performance by Rian McCauley from 7 PM to 7:30 PM before Luka Bloom takes the stage.
Meanwhile, the Festival Hooley Live at the Bridgend promises another night of fantastic music, featuring Phoenix from 8:30 PM, followed by the Muddlers Club. As always, the town’s pubs will be buzzing with Festival Sessions late into the night.
THE MUDDLERS CLUB
Folk fused with trad and rock for a whiskey and sweat-soaked stomping and singing session, The Muddlers Club are a firm favourite hailing from Northern Ireland. Instruments include the fiddle, whistle, bodhrán, guitars, harmonica, uke, sax, bass and drums, so you can expect a live music experience, unlike any other.
Phoenix is a band hailing from Sligo, Ireland. Performing a fusion of a variety of genres, from folk to rock to pop, they pride themselves in their ability to play a wide range of music.
Composed of instruments ranging from the banjo to the saxophone, they have incredible versatility and a huge passion for playing music.
They are thrilled to be performing at the upcoming Ballyshannon Folk Festival on August 2nd, and look forward to playing some of their favourite tunes, including some original music too
