Kicking Donkeys were formed from a pub in Bundoran where the landlady, Linda Connolly, provided a space for musicians to play trad on a Sunday afternoon and more experimental music on a Wednesday night. The musicians taking part formed a strong bond and now play as a collective at festivals and events and all sorts of gatherings. The musicians involved at the moment are from Donegal, Leitrim, Fermanagh, Tyrone and Belfast and make for a rare collective. Lively tunes, original songs, mixed with some covers guaranteed to raise the roof and let you leave with a smile on your face.
